I haven't posted since all the fancy schmancy stuff started happening - what a huge text box to write a small blog in! Finals are, again, over, for the spring quarter, and I've officially completed a year of prerequisites and started filling out Pharm school apps. What a crazy thing - they take a while to fill out...

Heading for Chicago for a month-ish on Thursday - LOVE camp!

Gotta finish writing a journal about prayer. Love that, too :)

I moved to Spokane, and am attending this tight church that has this amazing secretary who is really the most amazing person I have ever met, and did I mention that she is amazing?!

I love Jessica Ann Cline, Doe River Gorge and the friends associated with it, and the Blackburns.

Mostly, Tennessee no longer feels like home (though it definitely feels like a place I will always love to visit). However, I've had an amazing time hanging out in Elizabethton with Jess and her friends, being with Debbie and just being able to talk and catch up, and I felt like I was coming home when I drove into Doe River...it'll actually be hard to leave, I think. I missed going to Charleston today by a few hours (I tend to talk, and my phone looooooooooves to tell me about missed calls hours later) but was able to spend quite a bit of time at the Gorge and go out to Chik-fil-a (the third time since arriving monday) for dinner with Linz. Depending on my car situation, I may still make it out to Charleston tomorrow. I'm loving this "loosey-goosey" vacation stuff - I'm used to structured day-to-day plans, and those definitely aren't existing at this point. I think tomorrow I'm going with Ryan and Jennifer Vernon in the morning to help pick up some stuff after the backpacking group, then I'm going to hunt down Shelley Bell and hang out, then Lauren and I are going out for a late lunch/early dinner thing - then I may drive back to Morristown or go down to Charleston.

Team ION (I Own Nothing) - anybody heard of it? If not, check it out - amazing ministry to support, run by one of the neatest guys I've ever known (and his wife is amazing, too...great name...) I can't find a website for it, or any details online, but will try to locate that...

Remaly, miss you sister. Your message is one of three saved on my phone as a "long drive conversation". i.e. expect a phone call at a random time.

Isn't it funny that we always remember people who hurt us, but often forget those who have always been there to show us love...?

Debbie (Mom) - thanks for your call - the message is saved in my phone, and I love you for it (and many other things!) I call this week when I get off at a decent hour!

Jamie - I'm so excited that you're going to be within calling range of my cell phone in a week. Miss you friend.

Rina Ruth - thanks, too, for the birthday wishes. Love you sis.

Now - anyone have any good suggestions about books on Heaven? I'm reading Heaven by Randy Alcorn, and it's a great book, but I have to find a 'lighter' one (read = shorter) for my counselors at camp...I get to write a Bible/book study on Heaven for the 3-6th graders and counselors, so a lot of research is necessary - I'll take any suggestions!

Oops. I forgot about Xanga.

Explanation needed:

Graduation = official as of December 16th, but had to get a recital in. Got it done. Computer blew up.

I got a full time job as a preschool teacher/music teacher.

Still working at Gap on weekends and babysitting, so it's about 60 hours a week.

Trying to decide what's next: Chicago? Nashville? Johnson City in a year to go back to State for medicine..? Spokane?

So now that I remember xanga...hopefully I'll be writing (and checking) more often.

Oops. It's been a while!

Due to the cold mentioned in the previous post (which is still lingering, isn't that horrible?!), I am now on 100% vocal rest. This means no singing, no talking, no grunting, and trying not to cough/clear my throat. Now, this is just plain hard for everyone, but it's almost like a Hades designed especially for people like me. Anyway. Hoping that the swelling goes down by Monday, and I can talk again. It would be nice. On the up side, it means that my practicing piano hours have increased dramatically :).

My mom comes in three weeks!!!!!!!!!

I am graduating in December - it's official. I have two more papers to turn into Academic Records, then all I have to do is pass my classes/amaze everyone at my recital, and I'm golden for grad.

Exhausted and have bronchitis, but the marathon this weekend was amazing! I got to work for NewBalance and sell people stuff. It's great.

No voice though - that's bad.

Missions Conference starts this week. That'll be nice.

I miss Dr. Enuf. Anyone want to make a trip to bring me some? I'll take Firehouse and/or Chik-fil-a as well. (Mookie, you hearing this?! And I can always pick you up...from the airport? I have an apartment to stay in...)

Jamie's been married a month and a half. That's crazy amazing. And I still haven't talked to her. Amy's now in Wyoming, and Rebekah's getting married in March. All my friends have so much happening in their lives, and I miss them!!!!!!!

Right, so I'm getting more tea, then putting on my vaporizer-thingie and going to bed.

Remaly - love you dear. And I wish that you could've been here for the marathon, too, instead of working at BestBuy. How's the building hunt?
